Habbo have announced major changes to trading as we know on Habbo. On February 24th, several updates are being released for trading, credit tax, achievements and more. We have picked out some key changes and included them in this article, but more information can be found in Habbo’s official news article here.
Credit Fees
In 2020, Habbo introduced additional fees for purchasing credit furni. You know the extra 5c you were charged to buy a goldbar (50c)? Those types of fees! After receiving feedback about these following the recent removal of Vaults from Habbo, the team have reduced some of these and removed others to streamline the shop.

New Achievements
From February 24th, Habbo are hosting a week long event called the Great Habbo Trade Expo! As part of this event, they are releasing new achievements.
These achievements cater to the wider Habbo community, and aren’t just for those who like trading!
Experienced Trader – given for completing X trades with other Habbos
Collectibles Merchant – given for trading X Collectibles inside Habbo
Ultimate Pocket Changer – given for trading credit furni worth X credits
Silver Spender – given for spending X amount of Silver in Collectibles trades
I’m Bobba Rich – given for placing credit furni worth X credits in your room
Mega Chatterbox – given for being inside a chat/discussion or public room for X
Hustler of Habbo – given for being inside a trading room for X minutes
Forever on Duty – given for being inside an agency or RPG room for X minutes
Pro Gamer – given for being inside a gaming room for X minutes
Every Habbo who gets to level 3 in the Ultimate Pocker Changer achievement before the event ends (March 3rd) will also be given a furni prize!
This will be automatically given to you after the event has finished.
