The Competition
Habbo are hosting an Xmas Postcard competition! More information can be found in their news article here.
If you aren’t sure what to do, follow our guide step by step to find out how you can enter the competition!
Step 1
In a group of up to five Habbos, head to a Christmas themed room and get your festive outfits on. Take a picture of your group using the Habbo camera.
Note: You can do this competition solo if you wish!
Step 2
Once you have taken a photo you’re happy with, click on Edit > Preview > Publish on web.
Step 3
Now you need to navigate to your Habbo profile. To do so, go to the Habbo website and select “View My Public Profile” from the dropdown menu on the right hand side.
Step 4
When you scroll down on your profile, you should see a section that says “Photos”. If you followed the above steps correctly then the picture should be under here. Right click and save the image to your device.
Step 5
You can now add your image to the postcard template found here. You can do this on Photoshop, Photopea, Canva or any editing software. It’s up to you whether you want to leave the image as is, or if you want to add some pixel art or designs to make your entry stand out.
Note: Make sure you don’t change the dimensions of the image as it’s set to be 320 x 320 pixels, this is the same as Habbo Camera pictures.
Step 6
When you’re happy with your finished postcard and ready to submit, you should now upload it to a public image hosting site or social media platform of your choice. Imgur is a good option for this.
Step 7
To submit your entry, head to the Welcome Lounge on the navigator. Alternatively you can go there by clicking here.
A poll will appear asking for the following information, so make sure you have it on hand:
- The username of all of the members of your group
- The link to the published Habbo Profile picture (the same place where you saved the image in Steps 3-4)
- The link for your completed postcard image. For example, the imgur link I created above.
Step 8
Once you have successfully submitted your entry, you’ll get a pop-up saying “Good Luck!”
This competition closes on 15th December, and all Habbos pictured in valid entries will receive a badge once the competition ends.
The top 10 entries will win one Red Present and one Turquoise Sea Otter.
First place will win one Rare Morning Waves.
